Since Saru and Mark both work full time and were also not originally from Phoenix, I choose a location that was in close proximity to them (only 20 min from Central Phoenix and the Scottsdale area), as well as a place that was a beautiful mix of desert, mountains, and greens. I knew this easy to access area would be a perfect place for them to explore with their 1 year old, while enjoying the nature around them.

Papago Park is a beautiful spot located near the Phoenix Zoo and the famous Hole in the Rock hike in Tempe, Arizona.
The Kopin family scheduled their family photos to celebrate their son's bar mitzvah and the birth of their newest baby girl a few months prior. Since mom was still in her postpartum healing phase, I was sensitive to choose a flat area with easy parking and peaceful surroundings so it would be easy and relaxing for her.

Roosevelt Row offers a blend of colorful and modern vibes for you family photo session. Downtown Phoenix was a sentimental choice for Melissa, who had lived there before having her daughter and wanted a way to memorialize the fact that now she can bring her daughter to experience the beauty and charm that the city of Phoenix has to offer. Melissa + Dominic were especially keen on capturing the way their daughter was growing from an infant to a toddler, full of movement, exploration and wonder!

The Rodals are a fun loving family of 7. Mom was a little nervous about feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera, so I made sure to give her some extra help beforehand on coordinating the family's wardrobe and provided lots of prompts and words of encouragement during the session. We also made sure to set aside time for their family to play soccer - one of their favorite family activities - giving their kids a change to run around and be silly and forget that I was photographing them, so I could really capture their genuine connection and love.

The Welners booked their family photo session in honor of baby Maya's first birthday. They loved the idea of meeting at Fair Trade Cafe in Downtown Phoenix, so they could grab a treat and then we walked all around that area, stopping at some colorful murals and window displays, as well as a local park and some historical buildings.

The Paiz family wanted to celebrate their new grandson/nephew with an extended family photo session! With some of the grandparents living out of town, this was a special chance to get photos of the baby with the whole family as well as with each of his grandmothers and grandfathers as well as his cousins and aunts and uncles, not to mention, of course his mom and dad!

Your journey begins when you reach out to me through my Contact Form. Once you send me some info about the session you want, I will respond within 24-48 hours with all the details and my availability around your baby's expected birth date.

Once you've scheduled your session and completed the booking process, I will send you my Client Styling Guide to walk you through choosing your family's coordinated wardrobe, well in advance of photo day! I offer my best tips and favorite stores to shop so you can look and feel your best on the day of.
Closer to your session date, we'll connect to discuss your family's personality and needs and I will provide you with guidance on having a smooth and enjoyable family session. This process is all done via email and with my Online Questionnaire for an easy going and stress-free experience.
On the day of the session, I create a laid back and fun for the whole family (even dads!). With a relaxed and lifestyle approach, I'll guide you through natural interactions, allowing genuine moments to unfold., all while encouraging you to play, move and have a good time together as a family.
As a mother myself, I understand how important it is to feel good about your body, your family and your time spent together. That's why I am mindful of how I direct you and your family during the session and make sure you can focus on each other instead of how you look or where to stand. I take care of all of that! Family sessions last up to an hour long.
3. PHOTO Day!
After the session, I meticulously curate and enhance the images to bring out their natural beauty. Then, within three weeks of your session, you'll receive an email from you with the link to your full gallery of images.
Each session includes 50-60 High Res images in both color and b+w, only the very best from your session. There will be both candid and directed images for you to then download and print directly from your private online gallery. This is a great time to share your gallery with family and friends! I offer prints, canvases and hardcover heirloom albums, all available straight from your gallery!

With all inclusive packages, you don't have to worry about choosing your favorite images, since I provide the entire collection of best images from your session, usually between 50-60 in both color and b+w. Your session includes all of your images in High Res in a private online gallery for you to download and then purchase albums, prints and canvases directly from there.

Rivkah Leah is a super talented photographer. I get very nervous before and during family photo shoots, but her calm demeanor really helped me stay relaxed. From helping our family choose coordinating outfits to holding my 18m old while snapping away to really capturing the personalities of each family member, Rivkah Leah is the full package!

Rivkah Leah was great for our family photo shoot. She handles the chaos of young kids during photos very well and is very patient. She helps take the stress off of the mom (let’s face it, moms do most of the work putting these things together) by helping coordinate outfits and including items from her client closet. She also makes a point to help mom remain relaxed during the shoot. Will definitely book her again!
