In 2010, Julia and Steven Hall founded Babymoon Inn after experiencing the amazing difference between hospital childbirth and birth center childbirth. When they realized how transformative and personal unmedicated birth could be out side of a hospital setting, the Halls wanted everyone to have this option available to them. Since there was a lack of options for out of hospital births in Phoenix, they knew they would be the ones to make it happen!

The center has roots deeply embedded in a belief that childbirth is not a medical event, but a normal physiological event, capable of being filled with meaning and beauty. Since labor and birth are considered normal events, the midwives focus on typical labor patterns and avoid unnecessary intervention. As long as the mother and baby remain healthy and strong, strict timeframes for labor progression aren’t required. Run by a team of dedicated midwives and birth professionals, Babymoon Inn is a testament to the power of woman-led care.
